When i arrived in Benevent l'Abbaye the sky was very cloudy and i waited the rain start. Anyhow i sat outside of a very lovely Teahouse beside the church and i ordered a cold plate!

Die Kirche, noch leer The church, still empty |
The clouds passed beside, so no rain. I was looking forward to see the Gospelconcert. It was the first concert of the choir of a school project from la Souterraine. It was a very nice concert. The childrens voices should have been more strong, but in a church this is not as easy as that.

Next day, Ronald and me decided to share a part of our journey. As we remarked, we walk about the same rhythm.

We put up our tents at the Pont de Dognon, where a percussion-group was exercining. Nice evening and what an ambiance.

It is nice to remark, that the closer we get to spain, the nicer the hostels, the acceptance. What a surprising moment, when we saw in the forest a trunk of wood, decorated by all the possible symbols of pilgrimage. A place of peace, joy and energy which even had the possibility to take a stamp for the credential.

In St. Leonard le Noblat we had a very nice refuge, like a palast. Everything for laundry, stove, microwave and even a TV. We saw the opening game of the Euro!

Of course i had to go out to take some pictures, even at night.

Due rain on the way to Limoges, my camera was stored in my baggage. The first big city in france. I was organizing a place to stay on Couchsurfing for me and later on for Ronald as well. We had lots of time to visit the city or simply to rest.

As in every bigger city, something is going on! There was a festival of street art and a clogging-performace. Sunday was a very wet day so we just went to visit the Cathedral. Our host Olivier treated us as kings! Thanks sooo much Oliver
